Updated Pictures of the Model Home
Notice the wood above the flower box, on the front elevation; that is called live-edge Juniper. It really compliments the western red-cedar roof shingles. Give us a call for your private tour; 804.932.8777 or http://www.viniterra.com/.

Spotlight on our Signature Builders --J H Fisher Construction**
Yesterday we took a field trip to catch up with one of our Signature Builders, Jeff Fisher, owner and founder of J. H. Fisher Construction company. Jeff has over 28 years of experience building in the Williamsburg and surrounding areas, and has focused his talents in master-planned golf course communities, such as Ford's Colony, Governor's Land and joined our Signature Team in 2009. Jeff has gotten pretty busy as of late, so we wanted to come and take a look at some of the homes that he currently has under construction. You can learn more about Jeff and his team, at www.viniterra.com/builders or at http://www.jhfisherconstruction.com/ . Enjoy the pictures from yesterday....!

Sorry, I couldn't resist...get it, Full Swing! But seriously, we have had awesome temperatures this late in the golf season. This past Thursday, one of our property owners, Dr. Yorgey and I took advantage of the 80 degree temperatures, and played all 18 holes in 3 hours! I even managed to take a few pictures during our round....Take a look at the pictures or come and visit to see for yourself!!

Field Trip to ET Moore's Facility
Yesterday we took a trip to ET Moore's facility (contractor who is building a model home for us in the Estate section of Viniterra) to see some of the different exotic wood species that are being used to build the home. We saw lots of long-leaf heart pine, old-growth cypress, ipe, Chinese elm (from the Ming Dynasty period) and a western-red ceder that will be featured on the exterior of the model home. ALL of ET Moore's materials are re-claimed, meaning that they were not forested, rather, the different woods are taken out of old houses, buildings and warehouses and then refinished and re-used. This will be one of the "greenest" homes in the state of Virginia. Below are a few pictures of the construction progress..and by the way, the home is for sale. Give us a call at the Sales Center for more information, 804.932.8777.

Meet Your Developer--Continued**

Another fine community that is being developed by BNE Land is called Marshes Light (http://www.marsheslight.com/). Marshes Light is a marina based community located in downtown Manteo, on the Outer Banks of NC. Marshes Light is a mixture of condos, single-family homes, mixed-use retail space and of course, the marina. This water front community offers the last opportunity for new construction in the downtown Manteo historic district. Marshes Light is an easy stroll to many restaurants, shops and Festival Park, which offers a Summer concert series and other unique events. The 60 slip marina offers deep water access to boats as large as 50' and is positioned to cater to boats cruising the ICW or sport fishing boats headed offshore to the gulf stream. If you are in the area, call ahead for your own private tour (252.475.9863)!
